Kelley Stehura, Au.D., Doctor of Audiology

Our newest team member, Dr. Kelley Stehura, CCC-A, is a licensed audiologist who joined the practice after graduating with her Doctorate in Audiology in 2022. A native of Pittsburgh, Dr. Kelley attended Ohio University for undergraduate and graduate school. While at OU, she was a NSSLHA board member, a member of the Student Academy of Audiology, a researcher in Auditory Electrophysiology, and a teaching assistant in the American Sign Language department. Her last year of training was spent at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston, MA, where she helped conduct research on tinnitus and otoacoustic emissions testing. Several of her papers have been published to reputable scientific journals, but her heart lies in the clinic with her patients, not in a lab.

A lifelong fascination with language led Dr. Kelley first to study Spanish, then linguistics, and finally American Sign Language, which eventually resulted in her discovering audiology. After training in private, university, ENT, and hospital clinics, Dr. Kelley is determined to use her knowledge to assist each patient with their unique needs. Implementing hearing aids, communication strategies, counseling tools, and more, she hopes to help everyone that walks through her door to experience language and communication as easily as possible.

She is a multilingual provider in English, Spanish, and ASL. She is also an active member of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech and Hearing Association. In her spare time, Dr. Kelley enjoys baking far too many sweets, crocheting (her blanket will be finished one day!), reading all kinds of fantasy and fiction novels, spending time with her nephews and niece, and chasing after her 8-month-old puppy, Piper.
